My Divine Purpose

This is Deuteronomy 28 paraphrased prayer of Christopher Odinde

  1. Divine providence, I choose to listen diligently to Your voice and to walk faithfully in Your ways. Give me wisdom, discipline, humility, and courage to obey You. Let my life come into alignment with Your will.
  2. I declare that Your blessing rests upon my life – in my home and in my work, in my coming and my going, and in the responsibilities You have entrusted to me. Establish the work of my hands and make me fruitful in the assignments You have given me.
  3. Bless my household, my resources, and the honest labor through which I provide and create value. Give me wisdom to steward what You place in my hands. Protect me from waste, disorder, fear, and destructive decisions.
  4. When opposition rises against the purposes You have given me, grant me strength, wisdom, protection, and victory. Keep me from responding in pride or fear; teach me to stand with integrity and courage.
  5. Command Your blessing upon what I faithfully store, manage, build, and undertake. Teach me to be a wise steward – disciplined in preparation, generous in spirit, prudent in decisions, and faithful with both little and much.
  6. Establish me as a person who belongs to You. Let my character, conduct, and results bear witness to Your work in my life. May people see integrity, wisdom, excellence, compassion, and faithfulness in the way I live.
  7. Send provision in its proper season. Bless the work of my hands so that I have enough for my responsibilities and enough to be Give me wisdom concerning debt, lending, investing, saving, giving, and every financial decision.
  8. By Your grace, make me a source of help rather than a burden; a builder rather than a destroyer; a giver rather than one controlled by lack. Give me the capacity to lend wisely and to live with financial

  2. I receive these promises with gratitude, but I also receive the responsibility attached to them. Keep my heart obedient, my motives pure, my hands diligent, and my life centered on You. May every blessing You entrust to me become a blessing to others and bring honor to Your name. Amen.
